Meteorologist Jessica Moore
I am a meteorologist and professional photographer based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. I am a native to this beautiful state, and have grown up experiencing quite the range of dramatic and exciting weather, which sparked my passion for capturing it with my camera. This later led to a desire to learn the science behind the weather, so I pursued a college degree in Meteorology initially at Metropolitan State University of Denver, but later transferred to Mississippi State University to complete my degree (now Broadcast & Operational Meteorology).
My passion is being in the field documenting and reporting all modes of extreme weather, from fires and floods, to blizzards, hail storms and tornadoes. I worked for WeatherNationTV as a field correspondent for over a year, and my extreme weather footage has been seen on The Weather Channel, ABC, NBC, CNN, CBS, and more.
I am now a full time dedicated NFT artist, selling my dramatic, once-in-a-lifetime storm images digitally on the blockchain! Most recently, I have just launched my genesis piece, “Celestial Flux”, on SuperRare, which is a highly curated and prestigious platform. It is the first in a series titled “Poetry in Motion”, which will feature animated still images with natural thunder sounds that I myself recorded. Each piece will also include a poem that I have written.
