Meteorologist. Photographer. Travel Writer. B.S. in Broadcast and Operational Meteorology from Mississippi State University, class of 2020.
Meteorologist Jessica Moore
I am a meteorologist, travel writer, and professional photographer based out of Colorado. I am a native of this beautiful state, and it was the wild range of dramatic and exciting weather I experienced growing up that later sparked my passion for capturing it with my camera. This further led to the desire to learn the science behind the weather. I pursued a college degree in Meteorology initially at Metropolitan State University of Denver but later transferred to Mississippi State University to complete my degree (now Broadcast & Operational Meteorology).
My passion is being in the field documenting and reporting all modes of extreme weather, from fires and floods to blizzards, hail storms, and tornadoes. My professional resume includes working as a field correspondent for WeatherNationTV, and my extreme weather photos and footage have been featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine, 9News, Denver7, The Weather Channel, AccuWeather, ABC, NBC, CNN, CBS, and more.
